Heres a photo shoot I was involved in to create a front cover for the magazines plymouth college of art run, iv included the mood board I created to show where are inspiration came from! We were involved in the styling of the shoot itself and were really pleased with the contrasted colours created in the final picture :) hope you like x
This is my final mood board the gap down the left edge is where I added fabric samples when I printed it out for my portfolio, there is a few changes that can be notices such as the pink dress has short sleeves and a large button stand down the back of it!
I then changed the name of my collection to sweet wrapped which i felt would work quite well :)
hope you like xx

Im jumping ahead a little here but after creating my sketchbooks and going through my design processed, I created some final design boards here are a couple they then went in to production. I tried to keep in style with my mood board and draw across some of the images that were on them. I placed both my flat working drawings and design drawings on these to show more then one view of the garment itself :)
The yellow one is a dress with two layers pink silk and Chiffon to give it a nice natural comfortable feel, and the blue page is jersey leggings with knee patches and a waist band and a wool coat with arm turn ups
Following on from my last post I wanted to show everyone what my customer profile looked like, hopefully giving you an insight to the type of garment I wanted to create and who I wanted to create it for.
If its not clear this is what I hoped you could get from this....
  • they would be 16-25
  • shop in places like next
  • have a fun and lively day to day atmosphere
  • and have disposable income!
Hope you like it x
This was the mood board for my second year Project I created to do with a tea party, I wanted my final outcomes to contain a very romanisised look upon fairy tales taking inspiration from Alice in Wonderland, but co insiding this next to the WI. I kept the image black and while to get across the vintage style I hoped that would come through.
So I havent Posted anything in a while and wanted to upload all the work I have been doing in the mean time which is quite a lot of stuff but think some of it is worth a look :) hope you like it x

So I was thinking about my last post and how I have not explained the purpose I have produced the line for...

'Ever wanted to go out in wellingtons that are as comfortable as walking boots and also carrying on that comfort you feel into you clothing well Style of a Hunter have made this possible, they have brought out there new clothing line of Fashionable, light-weight, tailored clothing to be appropriate at every event, you might be thinking there is already products such as this on the market but not in this price range the range produce as from £20-40 making them very assessable to everybody whatever the weather get out in you new Styles of a Hunter clothing.'

After looking into the market level already producing fashionable outdoor clothing it was clear there was room for mine its good quality clothing at reasonable prices and as the name is already established it shouldn't be too hard to get the line selling.
